Who we are

At Eastlake Barbell Club, we’re more than just a gym—we’re a community dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals. Located in the heart of Seattle’s Eastlake neighborhood, we specialize in personalized training programs designed for people of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, transitioning your routine, or just starting your fitness journey, our team is here to support you every step of the way.

Previously known as The Performance Fix, we’ve reimagined the gym to create a professional, welcoming space that combines tailored fitness plans with the encouragement of a close-knit community.

Locally Owned, Community Driven

In an era where one-size-fits-all big brand gyms are taking over the world, we believe that gyms are more than just businesses; they are gathering places. As residents of Eastlake, we feel privileged to provide world-class training in a safe space for our friends and neighbors.

  • Katie Nishimura

    STAFF

Katie is originally from California and has been involved in sports her whole life, starting as a competitive gymnast, then collegiate pole vaulter, snowboarder, runner, and currently dragon boat paddler. Her day job is as a biostatistician doing cancer research, and she became a member of the Eastlake Barbell Club shortly after moving to Seattle in 2016. She spends most of her free time as the VP and Head Coach for the Seattle Flying Dragon Boat Club, but when she's not at the gym or on the water, you can find her sleeping, complaining about the rain, and struggling to reach things on high shelves.
